Characteristics
Size: Up to 60
cm in diameter.
Colour: Usually
yellow, green, gray or light brown in shallow water and gray to chocolate brown
in deeper water.
Shape: Encrusting
plates in shallow zones, rounded heads in deeper water. Surface with evenly
spaced small individuals.
Habitat environment and ecology
In all reef environments, commonly between 5 and 25
meter.
Distribution range
BES-eilanden: Bonaire, St. Eustatius.
