Summary
Saltwater. Gorgonians. Colonies form bushy clusters of tall,
feather-like plumes. Pinnately branching, secondary branches
or branchlets.

- Bipinnate Sea Plumes Pseudopterogorgia bipinnata
Characteristics
Size: 30 to 210 cm.
Colour: Most commonly purple to gray branches, occasionally bright to pale yellow or yellowish-brown. Polyps generally cream to brownish or grayish.
Shape: Brushy clusters of tall, feather-like plumes. Pinnately branching, secondary branches or branchlets.
Habitat environment and ecology
Inhabits coral reefs. Inhabit most reef environments, from shallow,
seaward sandy areas, patch reefs to deep clear waters reefs along
drop-offs.
Distribution range
BES-eilanden: St. Eustatius.
