Summary
Saltwater. Gorgonians. Small sea fans, very much smaller than other
members of the genus. They are pale in colour, commonly white but with
slight tints of mauve. Their branching pattern is of several ascending
branches from which secondary branches come off in feather-like, or
pinnate fashion.

Characteristics
Size: 15 to 30 cm.
Colour: Pale in colour, commonly white but with slight tints of mauve.
Shape: Seafans have strong, flexible stems. Their branching pattern is of several ascending branches from which secondary branches come off in feather-like, or pinnate fashion.
Habitat environment and ecology
Inhabits coral reefs. They prefer deeper waters.

BES-eilanden: St. Eustatius.
