Saltwaterfish. Angelfishes. Yellow inner face of pectoral fin. Square-cut tail. Prefer shallow reefs, where they swim in pairs.
To be confused with
- French Angelfish Pomacanthus paru
Characteristics
Size: 25 to 35 cm, max 60 cm.
Colour: Greyish body, with pale edged scales. Juvenile is black with narrow yellow bars.
Shape: Disklike.
Habitat environment and ecology
Inhabits coral reefs. Prefer shallow reefs, where they swim in pairs.
Distribution range
BES-eilanden: St. Eustatius.
