Characteristics
Size: 5 to 8 cm.
Colour: Lower body is white, upper body starts with yellow and gets darker towards the dorsal fin from dark brown to black.
Shape: Oval with long snout.
Habitat environment and ecology
Inhabits coral reefs. Solitaty and reclusive fish that prefers deeper
reefs. It uses its long snout to pick small invertebrates out of tiny
holes and from between sea urchin spines.
Distribution range
BES-eilanden: St. Eustatius.
