Summary

Saltwater fish, Butterflyfish. 15 cm, Deep-bodied and  laterally compressed, with a single dorsal fin and a small mouth with tiny, bristle like teeth. Inhabit corals reefs in shallow water where they swim about, usually in mated pairs in rearch for food.

Characteristics

Size: 15 cm
Colour:
white-yellow body with a yellow-edged black bar running across its head through the eye.
Shape: 
deep-bodied and laterally compressed, with a single dorsal fin and a small mouth with tiny, bristle like teeth.

Habitat environment and ecology

Inhabits coral reefs, in shallow water where they swim about, usually in mated pairs in rearch for food.
