Summary
Salt water. Gastropods. Large, conical, dextral shell that is black and
white in colour. Size range from 90-110 mm to 130 mm. The West Indian Top
Shell inhabits rocky shores through out the greater West Indies, with
the northern limit being Bermuda and recorded as far south as Venezuela.
Herbivores/ detritivores that feed on a variety of algae.
